Between 2008 and 2009, the gypsy community in Hungary was the victim of a series of murders. These events led Anna Lengyel and her actors to reflect on and study their root causes in today’s society. Based on over sixty hours of interviews with people from diverse backgrounds – accused, victims, witnesses – the selected texts are compiled and purposely left as they are to produce short scenes, which act as so many striking words putting racial hatred into perspective.
